Wickedfire affiliate marketing forum seems a kind of immature forum. A large percentage of its members seem to be immatures, the owner of the forum known as Jon, however, may probably beat all of them when it comes to showing how immature a person can be. However, the forum has some good stuff about affiliate marketing, internet marketing, webmaster SEO tips. Sometimes I wonder if it is an affiliate marketing forum or a porn site. Many members of the forum, including moderators and the owner himself, post photos of women half-naked.
Probably their aim is to show they are dominant or careless…. they use worst words and symbols in their forum. They have the right to abuse another forum member with their dirty language, thanks to the open-mindedness(??? lol) of the owner of the site. Most often some of the immature members of the forum pick on other famous forums trying to throw some dirt on them. But the fact is many forums they try to insult are much better than this forum, at least on the rules or ethics they follow.
This man, Jon once opened a thread in wickedfire posting the download links of ebooks written by famous internet marketers, saying that all of those ebooks are useless and they are just ripping the money of people. The same guy later began to charge some amount from some members (who are interested in in that premium section) for a never materialized idea of a premium section, which was said to offer more in depth tricks and tactics of marketing. After making some empty promises to those members and being a victim to their posts about his inability to keep his promises, he is now supposed to have refunded the money that he charged.
Some of you may think like “What a joke! how can this guy say some forum is immature? Hilarious!”. But the fact is a thing is reviewed based on main qualities of the same. Wickedfire has some great stuff on affiliate marketing, posted by (some of) its members. But it is its members that have made it kind of a bad place for people with sensitive nature and/or people who are mature.As much as you like to learn affiliate marketing from this forum and as much great as the forum is, never go and ask a question there if you want to prevent any chance of being called an “A**hole.” That is the kind of language some of those immature members (even some moderators and the owner of the forum) use to answer a question which they might (immaturely) think should not be asked.
Like many forums I have seen so far, the owner of this forum too seems to be using a lot of characters (member profiles) to show he is such a great person and to praise him. In my opinion, he has many duplicate accounts (he is the owner of the forum, what can’t he do on the forum) or use his friends or employees to bash people who question him and to keep people in defensive, who he doesn’t like. There was a strange (worst) profile which used to have a signature like “I am an Indian, I hate Indians,… I hate myself”……. and finally “I like Jon” or “I hate Jon (just kidding)”. This was how his signature used to be.
The profile must belong to this “Jon”(the owner of the forum) or to some mentally retarded person. I am not abusing a person here. In fact the word mentally retarded may not be the best word to refer to him, Probably the best word is Psycho. You can see a lot of this kind of people there on the forum. I believe, some of these immature people are those who were banned on other famous (yes, wickedfire is a famous forum) forums like forums.digitalpoint.com, sitepoint.com, warriorforum, namepros…… etc. Even most of the members of the forum admit that they were banned on some other site for bumping threads.
LOL! After a long time of inactivity on the forum, I recently went back to the forum only to be surprised to see some paid (premium) section. According those guys, they discuss more in-depth techniques, marketing strategies in there. “SIGH” another guy is trying to rip the money of people by just changing the way (from ebook to paid premium section) month after month. Probably his loyal immatures may think this kid Jon is really offering some better information and pay the money month after month, at least to amuse him. The guy who once posted the ebook copies on his site saying he was fighting the fraud authors is now going to rip the money of people just by changing the name of ripping money.
